Why Catan?

Every turn in Catan is a meaningful decision: place roads to expand, trade to optimize resources, and upgrade to cities to accelerate your engine. It’s approachable for new players yet deep enough to keep strategy fans engaged.

• 19 terrain hexes, 6 sea frame pieces, 9 harbor tokens
• 18 number tokens, robber pawn, 2 dice
• 95 resource cards (wool, grain, lumber, brick, ore)
• 25 development cards, 4 building cost cards
• Wooden pieces: 16 cities, 20 settlements, 60 roads (4 colors)
• Special cards: Longest Road & Largest Army

How to play

• Set up the modular island and place starting settlements and roads.
• Roll dice to produce resources for hexes adjacent to your settlements.
• Trade with players or the bank to get what you need for builds.
• Spend resources to build roads/settlements/cities and buy development cards.
• Move the robber on a 7 or with Knights to block production and steal.
• Reach 10 victory points from builds, cards, and special bonuses to win.
